Mom's update

Life at home with two children is definitely different. We are learning the reality of little to no free time, but also discovering the joy of giving ourselves to these precious boys. We could not be happier. Several want to know how Micah is taking the adjustment. For all of you that know Micah, he is acting just as you would expect: content to stay in the background, shy to have any attention on him, and loving towards Owen when he thinks no one is watching. I think the reality will really hit him next week when things die down around here. As for Owen, he is a precious baby who is loving getting spoiled by Mommy while Grammy and Daddy take care of Micah. He is a sleepy head like Micah was, but has times when he is so alert and enjoys staring and taking in the world around him. We are amazed and humbled by how the Lord has blessed us, and are trying to remember to stop and marvel at how great our God is. We will continue to update as time permits and will certainly try to keep the pictures coming.

Micah's Catechism

Before Owen gets here and takes away Micah's stardom on our blog, here are Micah's first (adapted) catechism questions:

Q1. Who made you?
A1. "Dod."

Q2. Who is Jesus?
A2. "Dod's son."

Q3. How are we saved?
A4. "By dur-ace."

Q4. What did Jesus do for us?
A4. "Die ta-ross."

Q5. How do we know that Jesus loves us?
A5. "Bi-ble."

Micah's version of the Lord's Prayer:

"Our fa-wee, in aw-ee", (hallowed be Thy) "name" (Thy Kingdom) "tome", (Thy will be) "all done" (on earth as it is in) "aw-ee" (Give us this) "day" (our daily) "b-rea" (and forgive us our) "DET" (as we forgive our) "deh-wees" (lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from) "e-wee" (For Thine is the Kingdom, and the) "pow-ee foreva amen"
