Dear Wonderful Micah, How am I going to know what time it is tomorrow at school without you? I am going to miss you so much, so is everyone else. We are praying for your doctors to help you get well quickly. The same God who can break trees with his voice can heal you perfectly. He loves you even more than we do ( which is hard for your parents to believe because they love you so much). We will miss you, come see us as soon as you can...I'll have the legos waiting. :) Ms. Delyn
Your family is in our prayers. We are friends at MSP and the eye clinic and with grandmother Sally and just want you to know that our little ones are praying for Micah and all of you. Stay strong. We have spent moments at Vanderbilt and know the exhaustion and fear. We pray for your strength and that these steroids work quickly. May God's peace fill all of your hearts and souls. Love, the Mattox family
Just wanted you to know that I am on the prayer team at Parish and there is a whole host of us praying for Micah, and you all. We love you. Your brother in Christ, Marty Smith
We have our church on Lookout Mountain praying for you guys. Matt and Ginny, we are praying for Micah and anticipating a good response to the steroid Rx - glad to hear they are starting that. And give that boy some nutrition - milkshakes, feeding tube, tpn or whatever it takes! He's a growing boy after all. But I don't have to tell you. Love you, Aunt Wendy & Uncle Henry P.S. and Wendy knows how painful and tough this is - she went through encephalitis at age 15.
Ginny.......Please, what can I do? My heart is broken for Micah. I know your pain too clearly and I want to do something to help. I am so sad....what can I do for you? Lots of Love and many many Blessings, Amanda Savo (Roman's Mum) This scripture was given to me when Roman was hospitalized:
"For I know well, the plans I have for you, says the Lord. Plans for a future full of HOPE, not of woe.... Jeremiah 29:11
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8
A Little About Us
We are a family of five, and I have chosen to capture a few of the highlights of our lives in this blog. My motivation is that I want my forgetful husband to be able to remember even the little things about us. I also love an easy way to keep our friends and family a part of our lives. I hope you enjoy reading a little about our daily goings on, but please remember: while our lives may seem nice and put together on paper, this is a blog. I can assure you that we are constantly messing things up around here. We are thankful that our sins have been washed white as snow in the blood of Jesus.
