Last week was also busy because we were taking care of a friend's little boy, Oliver. We had so much fun and the boys enjoyed making a new friend. Also pictured is our new highchair from IKEA. It was a great buy, and I highly recommend it. For $25, it is lightweight, easy to clean, and very functional. I am a big fan of highchairs. I use them for lots of things other than eating. It is a great way to get the boys focused on an activity because they can't run around and get distracted. It is definitely where most of the "learning time" takes place. It is also great for playdough, coloring, and keeping them still while I unload the dishwasher!
Sounds like you all are great Ginny!! Owen is getting so big. He is so handsome! Can't believe he's already 1!! I love hearing your perspective on high chairs and how you can use them in other positive ways to keep those kiddos contained and focused. ;)
Ha! It is funny to see Oliver on your blog! It looks like he was having a fantastic time! Ginny, we are so grateful that we have you and Matt as friends. It was such a relief to know that when Oliver needed a place to stay that he would be happy and safe with you all. I am so glad that that did not have to be a concern for us. Thanks again for showing our O such a great time!
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8
A Little About Us
We are a family of five, and I have chosen to capture a few of the highlights of our lives in this blog. My motivation is that I want my forgetful husband to be able to remember even the little things about us. I also love an easy way to keep our friends and family a part of our lives. I hope you enjoy reading a little about our daily goings on, but please remember: while our lives may seem nice and put together on paper, this is a blog. I can assure you that we are constantly messing things up around here. We are thankful that our sins have been washed white as snow in the blood of Jesus.
